FusionOne Debuts Content Developers Network
The FusionOne Content Developers Network Facilitates Seamless Transfer of Licensed Content for Member Companies
San Jose, CA - September 10th, 2008
FusionOne, the leading provider of mobile phone backup services, today announced the formation of the FusionOne Content Developers Network. This initiative certifies that licensed content from member companies, consisting of third-party content developers and providers, is compatible with FusionOne's MightyBackup Content service.
Companies that join the FusionOne Content Developers Network can integrate their content with FusionOne's MightyBackup Content solution. As a result, content from member companies can be seamlessly migrated from one mobile device to another, enhancing customer loyalty and eliminating the need for subscribers to remember, re-discover, and re-download their applications onto a new mobile device.
"The development of the FusionOne Content Developers Network is in response to the growing demand for mobile content transfer capabilities that enable content providers to preserve and extend existing relationships with their customers," said Mohan Sadashiva, senior vice president of marketing for FusionOne. "It gives members an edge over their competitors by certifying that their applications can be transferred to a new mobile device. It's also attractive to carriers, who can offer licensed content transfer services for additional applications, thereby increasing their revenue potential."
MightyBackup Content, previously known as MightyBackup Premium, manages and transfers licensed content from one mobile phone to another, ensuring the seamless migration of subscribers' licensed content when switching from one mobile device to another. Available on its own or as part of FusionOne's Mobile Content Transfer solution, MightyBackup Content is the first commercial solution that addresses the complex licensing challenges associated with migrating licensed content from one mobile phone to another. FusionOne is the only company in the mobile content backup space that offers this solution.

To date, FusionOne has signed partnership agreements with 45 content developers and providers. These companies will automatically become members of the FusionOne Content Developers Network.
